Ampco Equipment & Construction Ltd. (referred herein as AMPCO) began operations in November 2005 in Ghana as a supplier of Heavy Equipment for Rentals and Sales. The company also supplies Marine Equipment, Telecommunications Engineering and supplies, Fleet and Logistics Management, Real Estate Development and Sales.

An opportunity for AMPCO's success exists because the mining and construction industry is growing at faster rate than any other segment of the market. Furthermore, Ghana’s construction market is wide open with a myriad of infrastructure development projects which includes the building of new stadiums in Tamale and Takoradi, construction of new feeder and access roads etc.

With limited solid providers who specialise solely in supplying Heavy Equipment Parts and Construction & Mining Equipment Sales and Rental in Ghana, AMPCO is poised to take advantage of this growth and lack of competition with an experienced staff, excellent location, and effective management and marketing.

We offer the finest equipment in Ghana for both sale and rental. We also have a maintenance and repair facility on site, which allows us to keep our equipment in excellent condition. We import most of our equipment from the United States. Some supplies are imported from Germany and Japan.

We work very hard to sell excellent machines. We also go the extra mile to get our customers satisfied. Our main focus is the excavator market; however, we also have Dozers, Loaders, Dump Trucks, Compactors, and Forklifts. About eighty 80% of our business is CAT equipment.
